Round 2

I'm back with another smoothie attempt! This one came out a lot better than the first one. It wasn't quite as thick as a smoothie should be (but it wasn't applesauce I used 1/2 banana, 1/2 lemon, 1 orange, and 1 apple. I also used ice and a little milk. I used too much ice or too much milk... or maybe too much of both. Sorry... no measurements!

With the first smoothie, the banana was pretty much the only thing I tasted, which is why I only used a half this time. I used the lemon for extra taste and ummm... the skin was serious! I didn't have that problem with the orange in the first smoothie, so I wasn't expecting that at all. Next time I'll juice the lemon instead. Other than that it was pretty good! I wanted to add carrots, but I figured I should experiment with the fruit first to see what taste bests. Here's what I came up with! 

I plan to make one for breakfast in the morning and hopefully it will taste even better. My bf is gone to Walmart now to get a pineapple and strawberries! Those are two of my favorite fruits, so this should be good! Later y'all!


  1. Yum! Try using yogurt instead of milk one time, makes a huge difference!
    Strawberries have the tiny seeds so when you get to the end of your cup beware of them lol. Let us know how it goes!!

    1. I will definitely try the Yogurt. Is there a particular flavor or brand that you recommend?
